Views of Chuck Baldwin

Constitution Party presidential candidate Chuck Baldwin recently did a Utah tour and, while there, was interviewed by the Salt Lake Tribune.  They have posted his interview, which I think all should view before the November election.

  1. baldwin08.comI’m glad you liked it. I believe that Chuck Baldwin is the right person to be President of the United States, to meet the challenges that we will face. And, yes, he has a running mate already. His name is Darrell Castle. You can read a little bit about him at Baldwin08.com

  2. Here’s the thing. From what I know about Chuck Baldwin, he sounds really good. I like a lot of what he has to say. The problem is that he can’t win. So, while I may very well vote for him, because McCain stinks, I’m afraid there won’t be enough people. It’s sad.

  3. Here’s the way I see it. A person has a few choices.

    1) Stay home. You are 100% throwing your vote away.
    2) Vote for a candiate you don’t like nor you don’t want to win. Seems like you are still throwing your vote away.
    3) Vote for a candidate that has a very slim chance of winning. Perhaps you are throwing 50% of your vote away. And, lets pretend that 20-30% of likely GOP voters vote for Chuck Baldwin or Bob Barr or someother 3rd party candidate. I think (and hope) that that would wake up the GOP leadership that we, the people, are not happy with the way they are treating us. You’ve read my thoughts on the canceled Nevada GOP convention. Do we want more of that? Or more of what Chuck Baldwin is standing for? I personally want a conservative in the White House and in all of government.

  4. I agree with you completely. My point was just that it is sad that someone like Chuck Baldwin doesn’t really have a chance of winning.

  5. I agree. Both the Democrats and the Republicans are doing their best to silence 3rd Parties. However, the more people talk about people like Chuck Baldwin, the stronger of a chance he has at winning. I hope he wins. But, if he doesn’t, it won’t be because I didn’t try to help him win. And, when John McCain loses in November, it won’t be Chuck Baldwin or Bob Barr’s fault, or even Michael Cox’s fault. It will be John McCain’s fault. And, I hope, the GOP looks at why John McCain lost and will turn back to the right and stop trying to be DNC-Lite.
