Since all 3 kids were home last night, we were able to move forward on a new Article of Faith. First we reviewed the 1st Article of Faith, the 2nd Article of Faith, the 3rd Article of Faith, the 4th Article of Faith, the 5th Article of Faith, and the 6th Article of Faith. Next we read the 7th Article of Faith. I tried to explain what each of the 6 listed gifts of the Spirit were, but was hard with the attention span of 3 little kids (and the Wife also). Next, we moved into activities. Mikey loves word searches, so we did a simple 7th Article of Faith Word Search. Finally, as we moved into a second activity, I said how all of us have things we are good at, gifts or talents. Mikey said “Yeah, like Josh is really good at running. He is one of the fastest kids in his class, but I am one of the slowest in mine.” I told him that I was glad he could recognize the gifts or talents of other family members and that this was our next activity. We took turns talking about the talents and gifts that other people in our family have. After our closing song and prayer, we each had a cookie that Mommy made.
