So, today is Mother’s Day. I want to emphasis that again; MOTHER’s DAY. If I get anyone a present, it should be my mother, right? Yet, at some point, it seems to have become ‘Mother’s & Wife’s Day”. It is not “Wife’s Day” (that would be February 14th, right?). And before anyone things I am heartless, I did get The Wife a few things, and will be making breakfast and lunch today, but she is the mother of our children, not my Mother. Shouldn’t Mikey & Josh be the ones to get something for her. Granted, they can’t yet, but I’m pretty sure that even when they are old enough, Daddy will still be getting Mommy Mother’s Day presents. Interesting how that works out. Hmmm….
