Kerry's Apology vs Foley's Apology

So, on Monday, John Kerry said “You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.” Finally, John Kerry apologize, kinda. At least, one was posted on his website. Makes me wonder if he wrote it or just a staffer wrote it for him. It took him 7 tries (or so) to even get that out. Well, to compare that to Mark Foley, Kerry complained and complained and accused the “ring-wing” to be trying to set him up. Mark Foley apologized immediately and resigned. I’m not trying to excuse what Foley did, but it is interesting to note that both of them only communications. Neither one actually did anything, other than talk! The Foley story was a top news items for weeks after he apologized. Yet, everyone is suppose to stop talking about Kerry immediately after apologizing? That’s the Liberal Media for you.
