Bush and the Reporter
Both Casey and Anthony have posted this on their blog. I thought it was very good and that it deserved to be re-posted.
People like to say how dumb President Bush is. They like to poke fun at things he says. Yet, this video clearly shows just how intelligent he really is. It also shows how determined he is that America stays safe.

With everyone concerned about a recession (which we are not in), some in Washington have started talking about what the government should do to help strength the economy. Brian M. Riedl wrote a great article in today’s Washington Times entitled Tax cuts vs. tax rebates.
“With slower economic growth raising fears of a recession, Washington is abuzz with talk of economic stimulus plans.
President Bush may offer a stimulus package; congressional leaders are discussing a proposal centered on tax rebates. Tax rebates don’t stimulate the economy. Cutting tax rates does.
To explain, let’s take a step back. By definition, an economy grows when it produces more goods and services than it did the year before. In 2007, Americans produced $13 trillion worth of goods and services, up 3 percent over 2006.”

No commentsThe Future of America?
So, I was at a job today. I was in the son’s room working on his computer. His mother as well as the son were both in there. The mother see’s the amount of money the son has. Apparently, she had just recently given him some money, most of which was now gone. She asked him about it. He said “I was at Jack in the Box and I was craving their tacos. It’s not my fault.” I thought that was incredible that it isn’t his fault, in his mind, that he spend all of his money. Who’s fault is it? George W. Bush’s?

No commentsThank you Mr. Bush!!!
I may not agree with everything President Bush has done (or will do), but I do have to say today “Thank you, Mr. President. I am so glad that you were elected in 2000 and again in 2004. Because you were in office, you were able to appoint 2 conservatives to the Supreme Court, and today, the Supreme Court, in a 5-4 Vote, upheld a ban on one of the most vile things known to man… the partial birth abortion.”
