Engadget is reporting that in a mere few hours, AMD will be mkaing a significant announcement, rumored to be a breakup for the worlds # 2 CPU maker. About half of my systems have AMD processors and about half Intel processors.

Maybe computers will just go by the wayside, LOL. Because today, Micron just announce a reduction in about 15% of their workforce, with the majority of them happening here in Boise (about 1500 jobs).
