I see what your point is, but come on, this is a bit extreme.

cnsnews.comIs it? What else does the government want to do with all these databases?

http://www.cnsnews.com/public/content/article.aspx?RsrcID=43463 – Federal Medical Database as part of Stimilus Act

http://blog.wired.com/27bstroke6/2009/02/feds-propose-st.html – Fed wants all Internet User data stored for 2 years

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Real_ID_Act#Linking_of_license_and_ID_card_databases – Under the Real ID act, all 50-states are required to share drivers license information, with the possibility of foreign countries coming onboard

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Instant_Criminal_Background_Check_System – Before you can buy a gun, you have to have a computerized background check. What happens to that information? Government is not suppose to keep it. Do you trust them?

This is just a few examples. All of these databases will, if we allow them, be connected at some point. I have no doubt about that.
