Yesterday, the government of Iceland collapsed.  This collapse was caused by the “global financial crises”.  In 2007 and 2008, Iceland was ranked by the UN as the “most developed country” in the world.  Now?  Not so good.

Bush commutes sentences of former Border Patrol agents

Yesterday, President George W. Bush, on his last full day in office, finally commuted the prison sentences of Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean.  They will be released on March 30, 2009.
