Joseph B. Wirthlin, an Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ, passed away last night at about 11:30 pm Mountain time. At 91 years old, Elder Wirthlin was the oldest living Special Witness of Christ on the earth. His daughter Jane was with him at his passing. He will be missed by the members and friends of the Chuch, but we are glad that he has been “taken home to that God who gave [him] life.” (Alma 40:11)
