I’m sure everyone has already heard the US Senator Edward “Ted” Kennedy has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.  While Senator Kennedy and I agree on few things politically, my heart and my prayers goes out to his family.  I hope that he has a speedy recovery.  While the prognosis is bleak, since America has the best health care system in the world, bar none, he is in best hands and, therefore, has the greatest chance to recovery.

In a followup to my last blog post, Elder Randall Deschamps is no longer in serious condition.

“It’s a vast improvement over where he was,” [Family Spokesman Marshall R] Topham said. “I think the family is doing as well as can be expected. There’s a lot of emotion associated with the loss of a mother, and the emotion associated with the hopeful recovery of their father.”
